I’m Dennis Santarinala, a photographer, filmmaker, multimedia specialist, and visual storyteller based in Vacaville, California, near the San Francisco Bay Area.
My work sits at the intersection of documentary storytelling, visual communication, and multimedia production. Professionally, I work across photography, filmmaking, graphic design, strategic communication, and visual information, with experience supporting U.S. Air Force Public Affairs, senior leadership, and complex military and aerospace environments.
As a photographer, my personal work is rooted in black-and-white documentary and street photography, exploring people, place, gesture, memory, and the quieter moments of everyday life. I work across film and digital, with an emphasis on observation, authenticity, and human connection.
My background in military aviation and Public Affairs has also shaped how I approach visual storytelling: understand the environment, earn access and trust, recognize what matters, and communicate it clearly.
I also teach photography, multimedia production, and visual storytelling through workshops and professional training.
